Today in LA
Fiesta Hermosa is from Saturday, May 28-30, celebrating memorial day in a big way.
There's live music, drinks, and food, with the beautiful ocean as the backdrop. I don't go to Hermosa Beach often enough, but I definitely make it out for the Fiesta Hermosa.
Goes from 10am to 6pm each day.

Today in History
On this day in 1830, President Andrew Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act.
This began the Trail of Tears, where 10s of thousands of Native Americans were relocated and would die before even reaching their new "homes."
Abram Rescues Lot
Genesis 14
Lot was caught up in a War between 9 Kings(over the land of Sodom), and he was captured. Abram heard about this, rounded up 318 trained men and defeated Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him.
Abram met with the King of Sodom, who blessed Adam for defeating his enemies. Abram gave him a tenth of everything he had recovered.
The King of Sodom only wanted the people, and would allow him to keep all of the goods.
However, Abram refused, not wanting to let the King Of Sodom say he made Adam rich. Adam only wanted his men and their share.
